The city of Arnhem is located in the Dutch province Gelderland, The Netherlands, a one hour train ride from Amsterdam Airport. Arnhem has over one hundred Bitcoin accepting merchants and is also known as Arnhem Bitcoin City, the perfect backdrop for a conference on The Future of Bitcoin.
In addition the members of the Arnhem Bitcoin Users Group serve as ambassadors.
Arnhem Centraal train station is a recent finished example of modern architecture that is situated on the edge of the historic centre. Across the road you will find Hotel Haarhuis. To the left the lively centre of Arnhem starts. Shops and galleries, pubs and restaurants are all within walking distance. Do keep an eye out for the many bikes while crossing the roads. Like in the rest of The Netherlands, bikes are a popular method of transportation. Hotel Holliday Inn Express is a short 5 min walk from the train station.
